The Oil Mill

At the end of the semi-manual or mechanized harvest, the olives are transported to the company’s olive mill in less than 8 hours. For us, this is true Zero Mileage.
Weighing, washing, pressing and kneading of the pastes are carried out at a temperature below 27°, to ensure the excellence of the final product.

Our connection with nature

Every day we take care of the production of our Poderosa in a naturalistic oasis nestled in an urban setting. The cultivation-which spreads over flat land bathed by the sea and facing south-enjoys the benefits of a perfect, unspoiled climate. Thanks to the sea breezes and the sun of Calabria, our olives fully express their qualities.

Podere d’Ippolito supports biodiversity and is committed to respecting the surrounding environment.
We specialize in olive growing, growing mainly the Carolea variety and a 15 percent share of other cultivars such as Frantoio, Leccino and Coratina. In addition, we manage about 4 hectares dedicated to the cultivation of citrus fruits, especially Navel variety oranges.
